Irvine’s population is both ethnically diverse and fully integrated, making our City a true “international crossroads community.” The Multicultural Affairs Office is responsible for supporting our Sister Cities Program in collaboration with the Irvine Sister Cities Foundation, as well as coordinating and managing the Friendship Cities Program.Each program was designed to create an atmosphere of goodwill and understanding between our residents and the people of other nations.
