Athletic Field Reservations
The Community Services Department is proud to operate and manage some of the most beautiful sports facilities in Southern California. These facilities are operated under the Supervision of Irvine's Athletic Services. The staff coordinates an allocation process and reservations of all athletic fields in the City of Irvine, both City owned sports fields and fields on school sites of the Irvine Unified School District. These fields are used by many Irvine youth sports organizations, adult leagues sponsored by the City of Irvine and private reservations from the public for various athletic events.

Fields Available
Fields are available (lighted and unlighted) throughout Irvine with advanced reservation by calling (949) 724-6830 or (949) 724-6661. While most athletic fields are reserved nightly for youth and adult league play, a limited number of athletic fields are available during the week between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm and on some weekend dates.. These fields can be reserved for a fee, or they can be used for walk-on groups if field is not reserved to another group. Please call (949) 724-6830 or (949) 724-6661 for field availability.

Reservation Fees
Fees vary by type of field and your intended use and hours (see policy links below). All lighted field use, organized games and tournaments for youth and adult events must have an approved reservation form.

To Reserve a Field
Download, complete and return your Field Reservation Application and mail, drop off or fax to (949) 724-7529:

Walk-on Field Use
Pick-up games and walk-on games (with no referees, uniforms, etc.) can use fields on a first come first serve basis. However, if a field is allocated to a group or a group with a paid reservation arrives, the walk-on group must vacate the field.

Open Reservation Periods
These sports fields are scheduled year-round for City of Irvine programs, Irvine Unified School District programs, Tustin Unified School District programs and Irvine based youth sports organizations (not for profit). Availability is limited for other reservations, but we welcome your reservation requests. Reservations for spring/summer use may be requested beginning Jan 2^nd each year and fall/winter reservations may be requested beginning July 1^st. Deposits, fees and liability insurance are required for most reservations.
