Rancho and Lakeview Senior Centers volunteers are dedicated individuals who provide needed services in support of members of their senior community and their families. If you have a desire to make a difference, join us at one of our monthly volunteer orientation sessions held on the third Wednesday of each month. Choose from a convenient morning session 10:00-11:00 a.m. or evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Senior Center. We have an abundance of volunteer opportunities available for all ages.
Keen Family Center for Senior Resources
Champions Volunteers
Spend time with seniors who would otherwise have little outside contact. Visit a senior who is frail and unable to get around. Share interests in common– go to lunch or a movie. Champions volunteers can also keep in contact with seniors by phone. Click here for more information.
Nutrition Services
Help out by donating time in the Rose Garden Cafe. Help us in setting up, food service and preparation, packaging Meals-On-Wheels, or clean up.
Recreation
Be an integral part of our recreation team. Plan events such as our dinner dances, special holiday luncheons for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, conferences, annual special events, and ongoing programs. Volunteer help is always needed for a variety of tasks such as program coordination, ticket sales, and decorations.
