Parking Lot and Bike Trail Rehabilitation Program

The City of Irvine provides for the rehabilitation of City-owned parking lots and off-street bike trails on a five-year cycle as part of the Pavement Rehabilitation Program.  The purpose is both practical and aesthetic.  The rehabilitation program extends the life of the pavement, thereby saving the City money.  It also provides a fresh appearance that makes the parking lots and bike trails look newer and more aesthetically pleasing.

In general, the rehabilitation of a parking lot or bike trail takes 4-5 days to complete.

It is our mission to minimize the impact of this program by performing the work when the fewest number of individuals may be using the facilities.  We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience.
