Studio Arts Festival
The Irvine Fine Arts Center hosts the annual Studio Arts Festival on June 6. The juried Festival will showcase more than 100 Southern California artists and their original works of art.

Summer Edition of Inside Irvine and Registration Begins!
The summer edition of Inside Irvine is now online and arrives in homes the week of May 4! This edition features articles on the benefits of adopting a pet, pool safety and summer hikes. Additional features include a report on the Great Park, Special Olympics and the Solar Decathlon. Don’t forget to check out the hundreds of class offerings, programs and camps within the Activity Guide portion of the magazine; registration begins May 11. Studio Arts Festival
The Irvine Fine Arts Center will host the annual Studio Arts Festival. The juried Festival will showcase more than 100 Southern California artists and their original works of art in ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, painting, photography, fiber and glass. The Festival will also feature music, art demonstrations and food – including ice cream sundaes serviced in handmade collectible ceramic bowls. Free admission and parking.

10-4 p.m.
Orange County Super Pet Adoption
This 9th annual event features more than 500 homeless dogs, cats and rabbits for adoption and includes a silent auction, opportunity drawing, low-cost microchipping and free advice from veterinarians and dog trainers. Admission is $1.

6-10 p.m.
D.A.R.E. Movie Night 
Come on out for this D.A.R.E. sponsored event and enjoy a motion picture on the outdoor movie screen in Heritage Park. The Irvine Police Department and Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) will bring lots of cool vehicles to check out. This family event includes bounce houses, a snack bar and field games provided by the Mobile Recreation Program. The movie begins at dusk. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Take control of your health and fitness! This free event will include health screenings, nutrition information, presentations, demonstrations and a wide variety of the latest health and fitness products.

Concert on the Green & Fireworks Festival
The Irvine Police Association is hosting its 31st annual Concert on the Green & Fireworks Festival featuring live music, activities, and fireworks. Admission at the door is $15/adult (14 & older) and $10/children and seniors. Advanced ticket sales are available until July 3; families can save up to $25 with a Family Pass(good for 2 adults and 4 children-advance sales only). Food will be available for purchase at the event.

Sizzlin' Summer Concerts
Grab your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and dancing shoes and come on down to Mike Ward Community Park-Woodbridge for a fun-filled evening. Gourmet food trucks will be onsite with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee and other Irvine nonprofit organizations.
Things to bring: chairs, blankets, sweatshirts, picnics or plan on enjoying a specialty item from one of the gourmet food trucks. Long pants, closed toed shoes and layered clothing are strongly recommended.

Concert: 7 p.m.
Pacific Symphony in the Cities
Enjoy a free outdoor concert featuring the Pacific Symphony, led by Music Director, Carl St. Clair. A Musical Playground with interactive activities for children, takes place at 5:30 p.m. and includes making an instrument, playing a drum, meeting a musician, plus a conducting clinic with Maestro St. Clair. Bring low back chairs, blankets, a picnic or purchase treats from one of the gourmet food trucks on site.

Celebration Parade for Korean Special Olympics Athletes
Host Town Irvine is pleased to welcome a delegation of Special Olympics athletes, coaches, team staff and delegation liaisons from Korea. Come out and show your support as the athletes march in a celebration parade on Wednesday, July 22 at 1:15 p.m. at the Irvine Spectrum Center beginning in front of the Edwards 21 Theater. The athletes will be staying and training at UCI from July 21-24 in preparation for the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles 2015.

Irvine Global Village Festival
More than 25,000 guests celebrate Irvine’s cultural diversity annually and experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of the world representing over 50 cultures. Guests enjoy the mosaic of music and dance on five stages; immerse themselves in cultural and religious displays; indulge in international cuisine; and shop in the world marketplace. This family focused event tantalizes tots with hands-on art projects, games, puppet shows, and activities in a giant, interactive Kids Village. The event was promoted as the #1 activity to attend in OC by OC Register and was highlighted at the Best Festival by OC Weekly.
