Meet cross-disciplinary artist Beth Davila Waldman, whose work is featured in the exhibition Terrain. Learn about her creative practice, conceptual and material explorations, and how the “Divisions” series reflects her personal and social concerns. Her art practice has been influenced by borrowed symbols and landscapes from her maternal homeland Peru as well as other international sites such as Hong Kong and Vietnam.
Born in Princeton, New Jersey in 1975, Beth Davila Waldman pursued her career in the arts initially at Wellesley College where she launched her current practice. Her work was recognized early on by the San Francisco Art Institute community with the 2004 annual Harold E. Weiner Memorial Sculpture Award.
This event will be held on Zoom, and advanced registration is required.
