The City of Irvine is celebrating the summer season with the launch of Summer in the City. Beginning June 27, the community can attend free, family-friendly activities held throughout June, July, and August at Irvine parks.
The City of Irvine, with the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee, is hosting its Fourth of July Field of Valor event July 1–14 at the Irvine Civic Center Lawn. The community is invited to honor veterans, active duty, or fallen service members by sponsoring a flag or visiting the flag display.

In an effort to address the growing blood supply crisis in Orange County, the City of Irvine and UCI Health are partnering together to host a blood drive event Thursday, July 11, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., at the Irvine Civic Center. Donations received will help provide critical care for patients at UCI.
