IRVINE, CA (July 30, 2015): A survey seeking input on traffic conditions and transportation systems in the City of Irvine was launched today. Residents and commuters to the City are invited to provide their input on what works well, what areas might need improvement and what the City’s transportation priorities should be moving forward. The survey is available through September 3 at bit.ly/IrvineTrafficSurvey.
The traffic survey is part of a comprehensive study aimed at examining mobility in the City. The study also includes three community meetings: Thursday, July 30, at the Irvine Civic Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza; Monday, August 3, at University Community Park, 1 Beech Tree Lane; and Monday, August 10, at Cypress Community Park, 255 Visions. All meetings are from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; no RSVP is necessary. Attendees of the meetings will also have the opportunity to complete a survey onsite.
Results of the study will be presented to the City Council along with recommendations for future transportation initiatives. For more on the study, visit cityofirvine.org.
