Irvine, CA (Dec. 16, 2015): The Irvine Police Department (IPD) has arrested two suspects for a series of high-end alcohol thefts from grocery stores. The suspects are identified as Quinette Hall, 41, of Compton, and Richard White, 49, of Inglewood.
At approximately 9:40 a.m. on Dec. 13, 2015, Hall and White entered the Albertsons on Quail Hill Parkway and committed a theft of high-end alcohol. The store contacted IPD to report the burglary and provided a description of the suspects and their vehicle.
Shortly after the first theft, the suspects committed a similar burglary at an Albertsons on Alton Parkway. Following the second theft, the suspects remained in the area. At approximately 12:40 p.m., Hall and White returned the same Albertsons on Alton Parkway and attempted a third theft of high-end alcohol. The suspects were observed by grocery store staff and fled the scene.
An IPD officer in the area located and arrested the suspects in the parking lot. They were found in possession of over $1,400 in alcohol in their vehicle, some with security caps still attached.
IPD detectives determined through investigation that the suspects are responsible for four high-end alcohol thefts in Irvine and one in Mission Viejo amounting to over $13,000 in loss.
