The City of Irvine, in collaboration with Community Action Partnership of Orange County, is offering free grocery food boxes to residents of all ages. Eligible residents will receive a box of food weighing approximately 30 pounds once a month. This program remains possible thanks to our dedicated volunteers. Every month, dozens of volunteers are needed to assist with four key events: food drop-off, packaging food boxes, food distribution events, and food box delivery. If you are looking for a meaningful way to give back and connect with your community, the City of Irvine would love to have you join us in volunteering for these events. With hundreds of families and individuals served each month, volunteers play a vital role in the success of this program.
