The Irvine Animal Care Center will host its 13th annual Super Pet Adoption event Sunday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 35 pet rescue groups and animal shelters are expected to bring more than 500 homeless dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals for adoption.
The annual event features dozens of pet-related vendors, gourmet food trucks, a bake sale, a silent auction, and low-cost microchipping. Cats, dogs, and rabbits available for adoption are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and evaluated by a veterinarian. Cats and dogs are vaccinated appropriate to age.
Suggested donation for the event is $2 per person or $5 per family. Parking is free. The Irvine Animal Care Center is at 6443 Oak Canyon. For more information or to view a list of participating rescues, shelters and vendors, visit irvineanimals.org or call 949-724-7740.
