The City of Irvine is a participant in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and has agreed to furnish flood hazard zone information for determining flood insurance rates to anyone interested. This Notice is to inform you where flood hazard zone information may be obtained.
The City has distributed copies of the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS), along with other related documents, to local County libraries (Heritage Park Regional Library, 14361 Yale Avenue, and University Park Library, 4512 Sandburg Way) and maintains copies for viewing at Irvine City Hall (One Civic Center Plaza) in the Community Development Department.

Elevation certificates for properties located in the special flood hazard area (SFHA) are on file at the City of Irvine Community Development Department.

Information regarding the NFIP’s Preferred Risk Policy may be obtained from your insurance agent/company or by calling FEMA at 1-800-427-9662.
