The Irvine Police Department has established an online hate crime and hate incident reporting system for residents to report crimes remotely. If this an Emergency or crime in progress, please call 911.

IPD recognizes the importance of protecting Irvine’s diverse community through the vigorous investigation and documentation of all hate crimes and hate incidents that occur within its jurisdiction. These systems are not intended to take the place of delivering police services in person. If you wish to file a report in person, please contact the Irvine Police Department at 949-724-7200. An officer will meet with you in person to collect the information necessary to thoroughly investigate what has occurred and document it in a police report.
