In honor of the City’s 50th anniversary and as part of the City’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative, the City of Irvine and South Coast Chinese Cultural Center are collaborating to offer the We Are Irvine: Living Resource Guide Series for Chinese-Irvine Newcomers, in Mandarin.

The Irvine Police Department Traffic Bureau is hosting a Bike Safety for Kids event on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 8-10 a.m. Parents and middle school students are invited to attend and learn or refresh on important biking and safety skills, including:

  •  Bicycle safety laws
  • Smart riding habits
  • Awareness when biking to school

Irvine joins other California cities to develop the most innovative pathways to carbon neutrality, including the Cool Block program which residents lead their neighbors through a shared learning program to improve sustainability and quality of life in their own neighborhoods.
