The City Clerk's Office of Records and Information division is responsible for the care and custody of all official records for the City of Irvine.  Our goal is to provide prompt access to public records and information for both the government that creates them and the citizens it serves.

Please note:  Beginning Monday, May 20, 2024, the Office of Records and Information will be closed on Fridays. Normal business hours will be Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The City is introducing a new street sweeping schedule for several Irvine villages beginning January 1. These changes will help streamline operations and ensure Irvine's roads are well-kept

In partnership with the City of Irvine, Waste Management is hosting a free paper-shredding event Saturday, October 24, 9–11 a.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. Irvine Residents can safely and securely dispose of up to five banker-size file boxes. The event is first-come, first-served and will end early if the truck capacity is reached. Customers who wish to watch their paper be shredded will need to park in a designated area away from the truck and staff.
