Join us in celebrating a space for everyone at the opening of Irvine’s first universal playground Thursday, November 14, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Sweet Shade Neighborhood Park, located at 15 Sweet Shade in Irvine. 

Sweet Shade Universal Playground will feature multigenerational play components designed to create an inclusive and engaging experience for individuals with disabilities, as well as their parents and caregivers. The new playground includes Bankshot Basketball, adaptive swings, a sensory garden, family restrooms, and more.

The City of Irvine and the Fair Housing Foundation will host a free Fair Housing Workshop Thursday, November 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Irvine City Hall.
