The City of Irvine is invested in our community and believe it’s essential to act on topics critically important to our environment such as plastic waste reduction. Single-use plastics contribute significantly to pollution, affecting terrestrial and marine ecosystems, endangering wildlife, driving greenhouse gas emissions that exacerbate climate change, and posing risks to human health.
For over two decades, the late Paul Gardner contributed to the cultural landscape of Irvine by teaching painting at the Irvine Fine Arts Center. Whether inspired by water's graceful flow or the dynamic energy of music, sound, and movement, his work transports viewers to immersive environments. Through a celebratory exploration of his life’s work, Paul Gardner: A Retrospective showcases the deep connection Gardner had with his surroundings.
