National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

of stigma. NAMI offers a variety of supportive programs including classes, support groups, peer mentoring and more.
OC Links: Behavioral Health Information, Referrals, Crisis Response and More
Mental health issues like depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol misuse, and hopelessness can affect anyone, anywhere, anytime. And OC Links is the first place to call for help with any of them.
OC Links is a free and confidential telephone and online chat service that connects Orange County residents to mental health and substance use services through the OC Health Care Agency’s Behavioral Health Services System of Care.
Calls and chats are answered 24/7/365 by OC Links Navigators who are licensed clinicians and trained behavioral health professionals. These specialists can assist you or a loved one at any stage of need – whether you’re seeking information, prevention resources, treatment options, direct referrals to behavioral health programs or urgent mental health support. We’ll connect you with the resources you need, or dispatch a mobile crisis response team to meet you in person when necessary.

Irvine Community Alternative Response and Engagement (ICARE)
ICARE is a specialized unit within the Irvine Police Department who responds to non-violent, non-criminal mental health and substance use challenges calls for service. The team provides supportive care for individuals experiencing mental health crises, homelessness, and noncriminal behavioral issues (including youths in crisis, survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault, individuals needing family counseling or welfare checks, etc.). The primary focus of this team is to connect individuals in crisis with the appropriate resources to address the underlying causes of their needs. Aliso Ridge Behavioral Health
The Aliso Ridge Behavioral Health facility is the flagship campus of the OC Specialty Health & Hospitals system. The newly-built facility is located in Aliso Viejo and offers 119 beds, serving children, adolescents, and adults. Offering both inpatient and outpatient programs, Aliso Ridge Behavioral Health is licensed as an acute psychiatric hospital. The hospital has four units of 22-23 beds for various patient groups, along with a separate 28-bed unit for specialty care.
