Housing Assistance Referral
211 Orange County is a comprehensive information and referral system that links Orange County residents to community health and human services and support. If you or someone you know needs immediate assistance, including emergency shelter, simply dial 2-1-1 or search for local health and human services resources.
Human Options
Human Options has impacted the lives of more than 500,000 people affected by relationship violence. 90% of survivors who completed our program have moved forward towards safety and healing. Reclaim a life free of fear for yourself or for someone you care about. Emergency shelter, transitional housing, and counseling for victims of domestic violence are available. Families Forward
Families Forward of Irvine tackles the pervasive issue of homelessness for families with children, last year Families Forward improved the lives of more than 14,000 people. From providing food assistance, career coaching, mental health counseling, to financial literacy education, they’re as committed to strengthening overall well-being as they are to ensuring everyone has a place to call home. South County Outreach
Guided by the values of respect and dignity, South County Outreach's mission is to prevent hunger and homelessness by helping people help themselves. For more information, call 949- 380-8144.
StandUp for Kids
StandUp for Kids is dedicated to ending the cycle of youth homelessness in local communities coast to coast. They have served unaccompanied homeless and at-risk youth – and young parents with children of their own – up to their 25th birthday. All of them have lived through trauma. Many have survived abuse. Often, they’re just victims of immense neglect.
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
VA housing assistance can help Veterans, service members, and their surviving spouses to buy a home or refinance a loan. Yale Navigation Center
The Yale Navigation Center is the new County shelter for persons experiencing homelessness, located in the City of Santa Ana and opened in late January 2021. The Yale Navigation Center is operated by PATH - People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) through a contract with the County of Orange. PATH provides shelter and supportive services for up to 425 adult individuals and couples experiencing homelessness in the Central Service Planning Area (SPA). PATH provides trauma-informed services with an emphasis on stabilization, permanent housing placements, and reintegration of participants back into the community. Homeless Management Information System- The City of Irvine utilizes the Orange County Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) to collect and share information on individuals who access our services. HMIS securely records information and data on persons accessing housing and homeless support services. HMIS data can be utilized to provide statistical reports as requested by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
