Orange Stalked Bulbine

A hardy, drought-tolerant succulent perennial prized for its vibrant orange flowers, grass-like foliage, and low maintenance. Native to South Africa, it thrives in hot climates and is commonly used in xeriscapes, borders, and containers.

Appearance

Foliage: Narrow, fleshy, bright green leaves grow in clumps, forming a soft, grass-like appearance. The leaves are semi-succulent and store water, making the plant highly drought-tolerant.

Flowers: Orange, star-shaped flowers with a central cluster of yellow stamens bloom on tall, thin stalks above the foliage. Blooming occurs nearly year-round in warm climates, with a peak in spring and summer.
