Cool Irvine: Irvine's Campaign to Reach Carbon Neutrality
Climate scientists tell us we must act now to avoid irreversible ecological tipping points and prepare for the worst effects of climate change. Irvine joins the cities of Los Angeles and Petaluma to embark on the ultimate mission of our time: becoming a carbon-neutral community.
Learn More & Volunteer
We are exploring strategies to develop the most innovative pathways to carbon neutrality, and need your help! Our participation in the Cool City Challenge pilot initiative led to the development of the Cool Block program, recruiting over 200 households to join in a shared learning experience to improve sustainability and quality of life in their own neighborhoods.
