Formally All Media, Irvine Annual is a juried exhibition that showcases artworks from California artists ages 18 and older who work across multiple visual artistic mediums. Media eligible for exhibition include assemblage, ceramic, collage, digital media, drawing, fiber, mixed media, metal, painting, paper, photography, printmaking, sculpture, synthetic materials, and wood. Please note that glass is not an eligible material for this call. All artwork submitted must be presented wall-mounted.
Since 1983, this exhibition has surveyed contemporary California art, celebrating the artists, movements, and traditions of the region. Throughout the exhibition, arts discussions and workshops provide educational opportunities for the community.
Submissions are reviewed and selected by guest jurors who are established artists and/or arts leaders from a range of fields and institutions such as museums, galleries, and academia. Monetary awards are given to outstanding entries, as selected by guest jurors.
About the 2025 Jurors
The exhibition is juried by Elizabeth Munzón, artist and owner of Munzón Gallery in Long Beach, California; Stephanie Sherwood, artist and curator; and Dakota Noot, artist and curator and acting director of the Frank M. Doyle Arts Pavillion at Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa.
Awards
Monetary awards, selected by the guest juror and Fine Arts Center patrons, will be given to artists for outstanding entries.
