The City of Irvine is proud to announce the official opening of the newly reimagined Irvine Public Library system Sunday, August 3. With book checkouts, community programs, and dynamic spaces for learning and connection, Irvine Public Library is stepping boldly into the future.

As part of a comprehensive facilities planning effort, the City is conducting a study to evaluate and plan for future library needs across the community. This process will be informed by direct public input through a series of community meetings and engagement opportunities.

This meeting happening Thursday, August 7, 6–7:30 p.m. at Deerfield Community Center, will provide residents with information about the planning study and offer a platform for feedback on preliminary concepts for future branch locations, facility sizes, programming, and collections.

Additional updates and opportunities for public involvement will be posted at irvinepubliclibrary.org. Comments and suggestions are also welcome at any time via email at irvinepubliclibrary@cityofirvine.org
