Electric Lawn & Garden Equipment Demonstration

The City of Irvine will hold an electric gardening equipment demonstration May 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. on the front lawn of City Hall. The demonstration will be conducted by Dan Mabe, AGZA chief executive officer, a national leader in the transition from gasoline to electric lawn and garden equipment. The demonstration will cover topics such as:

  • Air quality benefits

  • Occupational health benefits

  • Noise reduction in neighborhoods

  • The range of electric equipment available

  • Equipment charging requirements

  • The comparative economics of electric versus gasoline equipment
