Creating designs and illustrations for brands such as Vans, Dr. Martens, and Enjoi Skateboards, Hsiung believes you don’t have to be a Rembrandt to make art; all you need to do is pick up a pen.
Learn about the art movement, Surrealism, and its unique take on improvisation and collaboration while experimenting with simple penand- ink drawing techniques. Take inspiration from Hsiung’s mythosinfused world in which mer-things, wizardly folk, and more meet the attitude of skate! Bring your crew to pen your own friendly fantasy skatercreatures and other hybrid beings. No advance registration is needed for this free, fun-for-all-ages event.
