The newest Art at City Hall exhibition, HOPE Center for the Arts: Be Seen, highlights the work of artists from the Irvine-based nonprofit HOPE Center for the Arts.

An opening reception will be held on January 15, 2–4 p.m., at Irvine City Hall. The reception will feature a live performance by the Hi Hopes Band, an ensemble of musicians from the HOPE community, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with both the visual and performing arts in one inclusive celebration.

Founded in 1979, HOPE Center for the Arts is dedicated to empowering adults with disabilities through visual and performing arts. HOPE Center for the Arts: Be Seen offers a compelling look at the wide range of creative work produced within HOPE’s studio programs, featuring art across multiple media and subject matters. The exhibition also includes a focused presentation of works by Donald Perry and James Bruce Robertson, two of HOPE’s most prolific artists, whose practices exemplify the dedication and growth fostered within the program.

HOPE Center for the Arts: Be Seen is on display from January 12 to March 20. For more information, visit artsinirvine.org/artatcityhall
