The Orange County Great Park brings back Cupid’s Date Night, its one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day celebration, on Saturday, Feb. 10, and Sunday, Feb. 11. At 6 p.m., couples can enjoy a picnic dinner – complete with dessert and sparkling cider – in the park while listening to music and playing lawn games under the stars.
On Saturday, Feb. 10, dinner will be followed by a line-dancing lesson from 7 to 9 p.m. under the lights of the Palm Court Arts Complex. On Sunday, Feb. 11, 7-9 p.m., couples will be led through a guided painting lesson inside the Artist Studios. At the end of the evening, each couple will walk away with a souvenir photo.
Guests are also welcome to explore the nearby Heritage and Aviation Exhibition in the historical Hangar 244, which features images, displays and artifacts that tell the story of the Great Park from its agricultural roots to its role in the military as the former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro. Cupid’s Date Night guests are encouraged to bring a blanket for the picnic dinner. In the case of rain, the event will be moved indoors.
Cupid’s Date Night is $122 per couple. Registration is required by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7. For more information call 949-724-7611.
