Wednesday, May 21, 2025

The City of Irvine will host the inaugural Irvine Mobility Summit June 4–6, bringing together mobility experts, transportation leaders, and community stakeholders for three days of collaboration focused on sustainable transportation and creating a more bikeable, connected City for everyone.

The main event takes place Thursday, June 5, featuring keynote presentations that explore cycling’s global impact, best practices for infrastructure integration, and innovative transportation solutions. Participants will also learn how Irvine is advancing mobility initiatives that support its climate action goals, improve safety, and reduce car dependency.

“The Irvine Mobility Summit showcases Irvine’s efforts to lead the way in innovative, inclusive transportation planning,” said Mayor Larry Agran. “This event highlights our commitment to safer streets, accessible transportation for all ages and abilities, and cross-sector collaboration, setting the standard for cities across Orange County and beyond.”

The Irvine Mobility Summit kicks off Wednesday, June 4, with a Business Meet & Greet at 6 p.m., followed by a full day of programming on Thursday. The event wraps up Friday, June 6, with morning workshops and a Community Bike Tour in the afternoon.

The Irvine Mobility Summit is made possible through a partnership with the Orange County Cycling Business Coalition and Irvine-based companies Revelyst and Shimano.

The summit is designed to create opportunities for collaboration across agencies and organizations throughout Orange County while engaging residents in discussions about the future of sustainable transportation in Irvine and the region. Transportation professionals, stakeholders, and community members are invited to attend. The summit is free, and registration is required.
