IRVINE, Calif. (April 14, 2025): The City of Irvine invites the community to celebrate Earth Day Saturday, April 19, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Enjoy guided hikes and opportunities to learn about sustainability with environmental partners at Quail Hill Community Center.
Guests can discover a range of hands-on activities, informative demos, and sustainability-focused presentations including:
Guided Hikes with Irvine Ranch Conservancy
- Join Irvine Ranch Conservancy for guided hikes through the scenic Quail Hill Loop Trail. These hikes will be offered at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Space is limited; sign-ups are available on-site.
Composting Demonstration
- At noon, discover how composting can help reduce waste and improve garden health through an interactive demonstration offering easy and effective tips for starting a compost.
Go Solar Coffee Chat with OC Goes Solar
- Connect with the OC Goes Solar team at 11:30 a.m. for a coffee chat about the benefits of switching to solar power. Learn about reducing energy costs while contributing to a more sustainable future.
