The City of Irvine invites the community to Illuminate Irvine Saturday, December 6, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Great Park Palm Court Arts Complex. The event transforms the Palm Court into a sparkling winter wonderland with twinkling lights, festive music, and hands-on holiday fun for all ages.
Guests can experience live holiday music, photo-worthy decorations, and festive games throughout the event. The evening includes a community favorite –– the lighting of the Holiday Tree and the Palm Court Arts Complex with Santa and Mrs. Claus –– bringing everyone together to celebrate the joy of the season.
Children can once again explore Tinsel Town, the elves’ enchanting village, which features fun surprises and photo ops. Illuminate Irvine also includes games for kids, holiday-themed crafts, and activities that are frosted with winter fun.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift for children ages 12 and younger to support the Irvine 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee Holiday Toy Drive and help brighten the holidays for local military families.
For more winter-inspired fun, visit Holidayz at the Park, a walkable outdoor light experience at the Palm Court. Stroll among dazzling displays, snap festive photos, and capture a family moment in Santa’s sleigh. Drop in to see the lights and displays daily from dusk to 9 p.m. Holidayz at the Park is available from December 6 to January 4, 2026.
Parking and admission are free at these holiday events. The Great Park is located at 8000 Great Park Blvd. in Irvine. Visit cityofirvine.org/holidayz or call 949-724-6600 for more information.
