The Registrar of Voters has determined the sufficiency of referendum petitions that were filed in the City Clerk’s Office on November 9. The referendum pertains to the amendment of the Zoning Ordinance reflecting a land exchange of the existing Amended and Restated Development Agreement Transfer Site (Ordinance No. 17-08). The City Clerk is required to certify to the City Council the sufficiency results at the next regular meeting on January 9. At that time, the City Council’s choices will be to repeal Ordinance No. 17-08 or place the item on a ballot at an upcoming special or regular election.
