IRVINE, CA (Aug. 24, 2015): Irvine Ranch Water District will host a free expo to help customers learn to conserve water in this era of drought. The event, in which the City of Irvine is a partner, is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, September 12, at IRWD headquarters, 15600 Sand Canyon Ave.
The Drought Survival Expo will have workshops, booths and specific landscape and water conservation information. Booth exhibitors will include Home Depot, Tree of Life, Shadetree, Coastal Turf and Five State Turf. Also, visit the City of Irvine table to learn about the solar houses that will be open for tours at the upcoming U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2015 at the Orange County Great Park.
The September 12 expo will also feature a Kids Korner with a bounce house, prize wheel and more.
The Drought Survival Expo is free; there is no RSVP required.
