Organics Recycling Town Hall Meeting

Let’s Talk Organics!

Irvine residents are invited to learn more about organic waste recycling from the City’s waste hauler, Waste Management (WM). This town hall will be used to discuss key points of legislation SB 1383 and share tips and best practices for how community members can effectively participate.

Please join WM for the town hall Thursday, August 24, at Quail Hill Community Center at 6 p.m.

Items of discussion will include:

  • SB 1383 legislation overview.
  • What organic material can be recycled.
  • How to separate food waste from scraps.
  • A Q&A session.

Quail Hill Community Center is located at 39 Shady Canyon Drive, Irvine.
