Irvine Community Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast set for November 19

IRVINE, CA (November 6, 2015): “Finding Peace Amid Holiday Chaos” will be the discussion presented by keynote speaker Tanya Brown at the 34th Annual Irvine Community Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast, to be held November 19 at the Irvine Marriot Hotel. Tickets for the 7:30 a.m. breakfast, presented by the City of Irvine, the Irvine Chamber of Commerce and the National Exchange Club, are $45; proceeds benefit the Child Abuse Prevention Center.

A certified life coach and author, keynote speaker Tanya Brown is the youngest sister of Nicole Brown Simpson. She will present her inspirational story on how to overcome adversity and find gratitude. Brown holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and has become a well-recognized voice against domestic violence. As an advocate for mental health awareness, Brown is dedicated to removing the stigma associated with mental illness. She has offered her views for television programs including “Larry King Live,” “Good Morning America” and “The Early Show” and was recently featured in People magazine.
