Irvine Police Arrest Man for Sexual Battery and Attempt Kidnapping

Irvine, CA – The Irvine Police Department has arrested a man for sexual battery, attempt kidnapping and other related charges.  Gregory Thomas Ditto, 25, of Temecula was arrested by Irvine Police detectives in Lake Elsinore several hours after the assault.

On August 2, 2016, at approximately 10:00 AM, Irvine Police officers responded to a report of a sexual battery of a female inside a parking structure at the Irvine Spectrum. The suspect fled from the area in a vehicle prior to officers arriving.  Irvine Police identified Ditto as a suspect in this case and ultimately arrested him in Lake Elsinore at approximately 3:15 PM.

Ditto will be booked at Orange County Jail and bail will be set at that time.

This investigation is ongoing.
