Community members are invited to support young, recuperating animals at the Irvine Animal Care Center at the Kitten and Puppy Shower on Saturday, March 11, 1-4 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon on the Center’s lawn during this free event, and “shower” new kittens and puppies with much-needed donations.
The Kitten and Puppy Shower is part of the Center’s monthlong Foster Donation Drive, held March 1-31. Even if you already own a pet or aren’t able to adopt one, you can support animals in need by donating supplies including formula, kitten nursing bottles, digital postal scales, blankets, puppy training pads and more. A complete wish list is available on the Irvine Animal Care Center’s website at cityofirvine.org/animals.
If you’d like to get more involved as a pet foster parent, join Irvine Animal Care Center staff at an Open House and Orientation on Sunday, March 26, 1-4 p.m. Please email the Center at animalcare@cityofirvine.org by Friday, March 17, to reserve your spot. For more information, visit cityofirvine.org/petfoster.
The Irvine Animal Care Center is at 6443 Oak Canyon Road. For more information, call 949-724-7750 or visit cityofirvine.org/animals.
