Social Security Disability Benefits Application Process

The City of Irvine will host a Social Security disability benefits lecture on Wednesday, May 6 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Lakeview Senior Center.

Presented by the Honorable John M. Watson (Ret.), the lecture will provide an overview of the online application process for Social Security disability benefits, including who can apply online, how to apply online and the documentation that must be submitted along with your application for benefits.

The Social Security disability program, administered by the Social Security Administration, is one of the largest of several Federal programs that provide assistance to people with disabilities. Only individuals who have a disability and meet medical criteria may qualify for benefits under the disability program.

There is no cost to attend this presentation. For more information, call 949-724-6926.
