Irvine homeowners who need to make critical repairs to their homes may qualify to receive financial assistance up to $25,000 through the City of Irvine’s Residential Rehabilitation Program. The Program offers three percent interest-deferred loans and emergency grants to assist low income homeowners with health and safety, building code, and accessibility related repairs.
Loans or emergency grants are available to assist homeowners in need of health and safety, building code, and accessibility related repairs. Eligible repairs include heating and cooling, plumbing, windows and exterior doors, roofing, flooring, painting, and electrical systems.
To qualify, applicants must earn less than 80 percent of the area median income for Orange County. Only owner-occupied single family attached or detached dwellings or manufactured homes located in the City of Irvine are eligible for funding.
