‘Name Your Price’ to Adopt a Cat or Kitten August 2–4

Bring home a new friend and help make room for felines in need during the Irvine Animal Care Center “Name Your Price” adoption event. The center’s Foster Care and Third Chance for Pets programs have been actively taking in kittens, and now many are ready for adoption. With more kittens still in foster care, the center is hoping to find loving homes for adoptable kittens and cats. This weekend you can “Name Your Price” to adopt a furry feline friend Friday, August 2 through Sunday, August 4.

Feline adoption fees are usually $70–$170, and this low-cost promotion will make it that much easier for the community to welcome a cat or kitten into their home. For this weekend’s event, all cats and kittens are available on a first-come, first-served basis (no holds can be placed), and there will be a limit of two adoptions per household. The center hopes that many potential adopters will visit the center this weekend, so please be prepared to wait a bit to meet your new friend. To give everyone a chance to find their new pet, meet-and-greet sessions will be limited to two per household. Adopters must have an appropriate carrier or purchase one from the center.

Please visit irvineanimals.org/adopt to see cats and kittens available, and to learn more about the center’s standard adoption process. For questions, call the Irvine Animal Care Center at 949-724-7740.
