The City of Irvine has released their 2020 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan for public review and comment. This Plan provides the City with access to grant funding opportunities from the Federal Emergency Management Agency intended to reduce vulnerabilities to future hazards and disasters. The City is asking residents, businesses, and interested stakeholders to submit questions and comments to Robert Simmons, Emergency Management Administrator for the Irvine Police Department at hazards@cityofirvine.org by July 8, 2020.
