The City of Irvine turns 50 in 2021 and invites residents, businesses, and visitors to help celebrate by participating in the 50th Anniversary Photo Contest from May 1 to August 31, 2021.
The 50th Anniversary Photo Contest aims to capture the essence of Irvine – our neighborhoods and residents, open space, history, and events in five categories:
- Culture and Community
- Historical
- Outdoors
- Pets
- Seventeen and under submissions
Photos can be submitted for inclusion in the contest from May 1 to August 31, 2021 at 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST). Except for the Historical category, photographs must have been taken within the past five calendar years (after January 1, 2016).
The winners in each category will be revealed in the winter issue of Inside Irvine and will be featured in an exhibition at the Irvine Civic Center. A grand prize winner will receive a $250 gift card to the Irvine Spectrum Center.
