Irvine residents are invited to attend a Town Hall Meeting Tuesday, November 16, 5:30–6:30 p.m., to learn more about the proposed Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) plans for construction of a new Performing Arts Complex at Irvine High School.
The new Irvine High School Performing Arts Complex will feature a 650-seat theater and be built between William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center and the present Performing Arts Theater. The project will include the relocation of the parking to the meadow and walkway immediately south of the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center lot. When completed, there will be a reduction of 34 parking stalls.
A proposed construction timeline along with potential construction-related impacts will be presented at the meeting. Staff from various City of Irvine departments will be available to provide input on how this project may affect access to City facilities.
Heritage Park Community Center is located at 14301 Yale Ave. For more information or to view project plans, visit cityofirvine.org/IUSDPerformingArtsComplex.
