City of Irvine Expands Weekly Vaccination Appointments and Adds Two Sites

The City of Irvine is expanding its partnership with testing provider Covid Clinic. Vaccination sites at Great Park and Irvine Civic Center will be expanding to provide more vaccine appointments to the community. Additionally, vaccinations will be available beginning March 7 at existing Covid Clinic testing sites at Quail Hill Community Park and Trabuco Senior Center.

All three vaccines for COVID-19 will be offered with options available for patients 12 and older. Vaccines for younger children will be available in the future. Vaccine appointments for first dose, second dose, and booster shots are available at cityofirvine.org/covidclinic, and the vaccine type can be selected during registration.

Vaccine appointments will be available during the following times:

  • Great Park Lot 2: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Civic Center (near stadium): Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Quail Hill Community Park: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • Trabuco Senior Center: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. –3 p.m.

“We are pleased to bring more COVID-19 vaccination availability to convenient locations in Irvine,” said Mayor Farrah N. Khan. “The City continues to support those in our community looking to protect themselves and their loved ones during the ongoing pandemic.”

Preregistration online at cityofirvine.org/covidclinic is required to select the vaccination type and provide health screening information through the California Department of Public Health My Turn website. Once a patient has registered, they will receive confirmation of their appointment time and further instruction via the email provided during registration.

Along with vaccinations, testing will continue to be available. Covid Clinic testing sites have been available since August 2021 at Irvine Civic Center, Las Lomas Community Center, Quail Hill Community Park, Great Park, and Trabuco Senior Center. Testing is free when medically necessary, and rapid testing is offered for a fee. Service hours and appointments for vaccinations and testing are available at cityofirvine.org/covidclinic.
