City of Irvine Senior Services is seeking Meals on Wheels volunteers to deliver hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors in our community. Volunteers assist older adults in maintaining their independence by providing healthy, delicious meals to those who might otherwise be unable to prepare food for themselves.
Volunteer Meals on Wheels drivers, ages 21 and older, are needed to help deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors in the Irvine community. Shifts are available Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. By driving just one day per week, you help feed a senior in need! Drivers are required to show proof of a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance, pass a criminal background check, and register as a volunteer with Irvine Senior Services.
