All Media 2023 Exhibition Opens July 8 at Irvine Fine Arts Center

The Irvine Fine Arts Center proudly announces the opening of All Media 2023, an exhibition featuring 67 local and national artists who work in disciplines such as sculpture, photography, painting, ceramics, drawing, collage, metal, works on fiber, and more. The exhibition will be on view July 8–September 30 with a free opening reception scheduled for Saturday, July 8, 2–4 p.m.

A flagship exhibition of the Fine Arts Center, this year’s All Media features contemporary approaches to landscape, portraiture, abstraction, photo-documentation, assemblage, and social commentary by an intergenerational group of artists. Awards will be announced at the opening reception for outstanding artworks selected by guest juror Gabriela Urtiaga.

Guest juror Gabriela Urtiaga is an Argentinian art historian and curator. She is the Chief Curator at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in Long Beach, California. She was formerly curator of the XIV Biennial of Curitiba, Brazil (2019-2020), and the Chief Curator at the Kirchner Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina, between 2016 and 2019.

 

Gallery hours are 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday. The opening reception, exhibitions, and parking are free.
