IRVINE, Calif. (December 21, 2023) – The Irvine Police Department (IPD) arrested 60-year-old registered sex offender Enrique Flores Martinez, of Santa Ana, for committing lewd acts with a 13- year-old.
On Monday, December 18, 2023, a School Resource Officer was called to an Irvine middle school after a 7th grader reported that Martinez, who is known to the victim, touched her inappropriately on several occasions. According to the victim, the first two incidents occurred in 2021 in Irvine, the third incident occurred in Santa Ana in the summer of 2023 and the most recent incident occurred in Irvine on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
IPD detectives located Martinez at a post office in Santa Ana where he was arrested without incident and booked at the Orange County Jail (OCJ) for lewd acts with a minor under the age of 14.
