Located in the heart of Orange County, the City of Irvine is one of the nation’s largest and most successful planned urban communities. A true international crossroads community, Irvine’s success over time can be directly attributed to its outstanding neighborhoods, nationally recognized school system, and dynamic business community.
The Irvine Multicultural Affairs Office is responsible for building community partnerships, receiving visiting international delegations, and supporting Irvine’s international relationships with its sister cities Tsukuba, Japan; Hermosillo, Mexico; and Taoyuan, Taiwan, as well as its friendship cities Nowon-gu, Republic of Korea and Seocho-gu, Republic of Korea.
