The City of Irvine has been voted “Best City to Live in” for the sixth consecutive year by The Orange County Register readers.
As Irvine commemorates its 50th anniversary this year, it celebrates its history of innovation, unmatched quality of life, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
“We recognize that what makes Irvine so special isn’t how we have changed, but how we have remained committed to the principles of Irvine’s master plan,” said Mayor Farrah N. Khan. “The vision established 50 years ago has ensured Irvine is a safe city with outstanding schools and higher education institutions, beautiful parks, and a wealth of jobs, shopping, and dining.
“We are proud to be named ‘Best City to Live In’ and we congratulate all of the Irvine businesses that were recognized in the Register’s Best of Orange County publication.”
Irvine is among those featured in the Register’s 28th annual Best of Orange County publication, an insider’s guide to residents’ favorite places and experiences. Thousands of votes were cast by Register readers in more than 70 categories this year, and more than 50 businesses selected as winners or finalists can be found in Irvine. They range in a variety of categories, including Best Doughnut Shop, Best Burger, Best OC College/University, and Best Shopping/Dining Destination.
