A 1.3-mile section of Irvine Boulevard was closed to vehicles and open for walking, biking, and rolling.
The City of Irvine brought the community together for its third annual car-free open streets event, CicloIrvine, Saturday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents strolled, biked, and rolled along a 1.3-mile car-free stretch of Irvine Boulevard between Culver Drive and Parkwood, celebrating community, connection, and clean air.

CicloIrvine highlights the City’s commitment to community engagement, sustainability, and environmentally conscious means of travel and encourages participants to experience Irvine’s public spaces and local businesses in a new and reimagined way with live music, art, and engaging activities for all.
Street closures for CicloIrvine began overnight and remained in place throughout the day Saturday, May 2. Access to The Groves remained available via Parkwood, off Irvine Boulevard.
