Community Action Partnership OC
CAPOC helps eligible households meet and manage their home heating and cooling needs and offers bill support. To apply for gas or electric utility assistance online, please visit caliheapapply.com or print & mail the application. Paper-based applications can be returned to: Attn: EES, CAP OC, 11870 Monarch St., Garden Grove, CA 92841. An application can also be requested to be mailed to you by calling 714-839-6199.
South County Outreach
SCO accepts applications for rental and utility assistance between the 25th through the 10th of each month. Application approval is done on a case-by-case basis and is determined on the household’s level of need and current funding sources. Requests for assistance are carefully reviewed to ensure funds have a positive impact on each household. To apply for financial assistance, please use this link. After you have submitted your application, a case worker will contact you if/when your application has been assigned. Please call their office at 949-380-8144 with any questions.
Southern California Edison Assistance Programs
If you’re facing difficulties balancing your energy needs and household costs, SCE provides assistance and resources that can help. Their California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) and Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) financial assistance programs help qualifying families of all sizes lower their monthly energy bills when they need it most. Orange County Social Services Agency
